Regional Infrastructure Services East (RISE)
RISE is a regional forum bringing together representatives from six sub-regional infrastructure consortia in the East of England. Its agenda is around the common issues faced by infrastructure organisations and the VCS more broadly in the region, and its purpose is to share best practice and resources between the different subregional areas to maximise effort and achieve better outcomes for the sector as a whole. The group also has one representative each from COVER and ERIN, and also nominates one representative onto ERIN.
Each of its members has a remit in its subregional area to provide support and advocacy services for the voluntary and community sector in that area. Local organisations can use these consortia as a first port of call when seeking infrastructure services.
RISE is coordinated by Hertfordshire Infrastructure Consortium, whose representative on the group is North Herts CVS. For more information about the group you can contact Jacquie Hime, Director on 01462 689400.
