Finding information on our website

The COVER website is divided into seven main sections. About Us introduces COVER, its staff, trustees and partners, and memberships opportunities. The News section highlights new COVER publications, announcements, and work done with our partners. The other five sections each cover a different area of our work, and have various subcategories which provide further details. You can navigate between the different sections by using the drop down menu near the top of the page.

Networking and Representation

This section provides an overview of the different ways in which we network within the sector and with key regional partners, and represent the sector on various forums and committees. It explains how we go about influencing regional agendas, and shaping policy and strategy. This page also lists our recent responses to national and regional consultations. There is a separate page with information about the Eastern Region Infrastructure Network (ERIN) and Regional Infrastructure Services East (RISE) which are two regional voluntary and community sector networks that we are involved in.

Communicating

Much of COVER's work is about communicating, both within the voluntary and community sector and with our regional partners. This section includes a list of our main publications, including the fortnightly e-bulletin, as well as a summary of key news items as they are published on other national and regional websites. The Research and Toolkits section lists useful publications by other organisations which the sector may find useful. We have also included an archive section to keep older publications and resources available.

Learning and Skills

COVER has a history of working particularly around the area of learning and skills for third sector organisations, with a track record of investing in networks, levering in resources to the sector and facilitating good lines of communication. This section provides details about current work in this area.

Projects

At any one time COVER is involved in several projects, both European and national. This section has pages about the main ones that we are currently working on, as well as details of the project management services that we can offer.

Our services

As well as our core services we are able to provide some administrative support to voluntary and community sector organisations, and we have facilities available to hire. Other pieces of work can often also be carried out, so please do get in touch with us for an initial discussion of your ideas.
