Publications

COVER periodically produces publications on issues of particular relevance to the sector. This includes updates on regional politics and national announcements which will impact the sector, as well as more in depth analysis of relevant research. This page lists our main publications. Research and toolits published by other organisations can be accessed by clicking here. Older publications can be found by clicking here.

COVER members can request briefings on particular issues which are affecting them. Where possible we will produce these in addition to our other work. We may levy a small charge, depending on the nature of the work.

Summary on a Page (SOAP)

This publication is issued at the end of each month, and summarises a publication of note that month. Usually the publication will be by a relevant sector body, on a topical issue. Recent editions can be accessed from the list below.

ENVIRONMENT: COVER is not a green organisation, but we are working at it. Help us by not printing stuff off unless you really need to. For our part, we no longer publish hard copies of most of our documents. We archive them here so you can always come back to them. The printed materials COVER does create, including for example our stationery, are printed on FSC 100% recycled paper with vegetable-based inks.
